SUliman onque

Created from genes of an artistic family, Suliman Onque began creating art in preschool and it was at this young age, that his ingenious talents were born.  

 

Some of Suliman’s works include Art exhibits with greats such as Willie Cole, Kortez Robinson, Jose Emanuel Cruz, Kween Moore and Jerry Gant. Being commissioned on various mural projects for the City of Newark.

 

In 2020 Suliman completed the "Phoenix Rise" mural located in the main entrance of University High School (collaboration with arts Cha Che King). Collaborated on the "ABOLISH WHITE SUPREMACY" street mural, ( with Yendor Production, Newark Arts, The City of Newark, Rutgers Newark and a host of artists and community volunteers) He paid homage to The Late Marsha P. Johnson with a mural in Elizabeth nj ( collaboration with artist Cent Pfe) Created art for 2 of the "Hope Box" project events in the City of Newark.  Suliman collaborated on the UNITY mural on Bergen st. and Renner in Newark,Nj. ( with Cent, The Art Alchemist, Chaos ,Gaijin, Matt, and Art by Ken).

He most recently completed a 4 mural installation at the Turning Point Community Services shelter in Irvington NJ. 

 

With all that Suliman has achieved, his passion for art continues to inspire him to create masterpieces of any form of work that he is presented with.  There is no doubt that his "If you can imagine it, I can create it" motto speaks volumes to his unlimited artistic capabilities!
